Fred's Story

Fred’s journey began on the stage, where he performed in theatrical productions nationwide and as a professional figure skater in global arenas. This background as a performer deeply informs his current work, ensuring every creative decision is intentional and impactful.

After hanging up his skates, Fred relocated from California to New York City to explore new professional horizons. He took the helm as the Creative Director of Bravo TV’s "Bravo On With The Show," an award winning theatre arts initiative for youth that toured twenty cities annually. Collaborating with Broadway talent, he mentored thousands of children in the performing arts while advocating for the necessity of arts education in America.

His trajectory in New York continued as he hosted and directed the national tour of Top Chef for five seasons. Additionally, he spearheaded influential affiliate campaigns for USA Network, including the award-winning Community Relations initiatives The Character Project and Characters Unite.

Fred entered the world of major sporting events in 2013 by directing the Client Experience for NBCUniversal during the Super Bowl. In 2014, he orchestrated the comprehensive client journey at the Sochi Winter Olympics. Since then, he has conceived and executed client experiences across fourteen Super Bowls, five Olympic Games, three World Cups, five Ryder Cups, four French Opens, and six Kentucky Derby's, as well as overseeing high-profile trade shows, corporate retreats, and exclusive holiday events.

And now in 2026, Fred brings his years of experience, creativity and passion to Studio Fred Haug and looks forward to collaborating with companies and organizations to conceive, create and execute moments that matter.

Why Studio?

For Fred, the word studio symbolizes a place where he creates or gets inspired. It isn't specific to one place, but multiple places. It could be a rehearsal studio, an ice rink, Central Park or Fred's studio apartment in New York City, which has become known as Studio 54 due to its proximity to the famous nightclub. Wherever it may be, Fred looks forward to welcoming you to Studio Fred Haug.
